Abstract:

To build a high speed high accuracy wireless positioning system, it is not enough to develop high speed high accuracy ranging devices. The ranging devices need to be integrated into a complete system that computes 3D locations with high speed and high accuracy. Furthermore, the system needs to be calibrated to achieve the speed and accuracy potential in practice. In this demo, Flanders Make presents a proof of concept prototype of a wireless positioning system based on commercially available state-of-the-art Decawave Ultra Wide Band (UWB) chip technology.
