15th Work Meeting – Reliable wireless communication

Imec, 25 February 2014

Reliable wireless connectivity: technology and applications

Good quality of service in your wireless applications is a challenge when the available bandwidth is limited and other competing networks are present. In this session we present solutions to increase both the reliability and the throughput in wireless networks in these challenging conditions, such as spectrum sensing, cognitive networking, error correction and machine learning techniques.
Several live demos will be presented, such as wireless conference systems with spectrum sensing, throughput optimization in Wi-Fi networks, and intelligent handover solutions.
