Abstract:
Distribution System Operators (DSO’s) requires highly performant smart metering solutions. Every DSO is used to operate grid components with a lifetime typically beyond 15 years. Smart meter technology is evolving rapidly, which makes it challenging to select a future proof solution. This presentation addresses the efforts of Eandis to obtain a future proof solution during its proof of concept and pilot phase. Based on these experiences, requirements were formulated as input for the CoPlaSM project.
