Abstract:

As part of IBBT, the PATS research group performs basic and applied reseach related to the design, analysis and implementation of network protocols for wireless and mobile systems. Starting from an algorithm and its analysis, a protocol is developed and analysed in its environment through mathematical modeling and/or simulation. In many cases a proof of concept of the system is developed. In this talk these activities are illustrated by means of a number of examples.
